impatience is a virtue

This Maiskij garlic just got yanked out for early devouring. Planted back in November, it's about 4 1/2 months old. My sister gave me these from www.filareefarm.com for my birthday, they were originally found in an Ashkabad bazaar in Turkmenistan. They're a hardneck garlic with easy to peal cloves (not when you pick this early!) that range from 6 to 8 cloves on a head. It's best to plant them in October.
